1. The service
AfyaKili offers mental health check-ups, consultations with verified professionals, courses and a community. The app is meant for information, follow-up and connecting you with professionals.
2. Not a diagnosis, not an emergency service
A check-up gives signs and a recommendation; it does not replace a professional’s opinion. AfyaKili is not an emergency service: in immediate danger, call emergency services or go to the nearest health centre.
3. Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your email or phone. Keep access to that address or number to yourself. You can delete your account at any time from the app.
4. Consultations
Professionals are independent; AfyaKili checks their documents before they become visible. The price is shown before booking. A consultation can be paid by mobile money, by card, with a care voucher, or by your organisation.
5. AfyaKili Plus
Plus costs US$1.99 per month. In the app, the subscription goes through the App Store or Google Play, renews automatically and is cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings. Plus can also be included by your organisation or come from a code.
6. Community
Be respectful, do not post information that identifies someone and do not give medical advice. Every post is reviewed before it appears; we may hide content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. You can report a post or hide an author.
7. Liability
We do our best to keep the service available and accurate, but cannot guarantee it at all times, especially on unstable networks.
